About Us

Citadel IT is aimed at small-to-medium-sized businesses, managing directors and small business owners in the Lothian area who would like an IT provider who speaks their language.

We don’t expect you to know your Intranet from your Extranet or your RAM from your ROM. But you do know how to run your business, and you probably have a network of up to 30 PCs.

But we don’t just ‘fix’ things.

Our approach is simple: we won’t recommend a completely new systems infrastructure if you don’t really need it. And we won’t re-invent the wheel if some minor modifications to your existing IT are all that’s required.

Instead, we’ll work with you to assess and audit your existing IT. This way, you retain what works well, and we recommend how any faulty or ineffective IT could be improved to meet your business needs.

Our aim is to become an integral part of your business team, albeit in a ‘virtual’ sense (we can be anywhere and still service your IT remotely). We’ll help your business run more smoothly, keep your employees happy and, importantly, impact positively on your bottom line.

Citadel IT has been in business for over four years, and we have all the important qualifications like Microsoft Small Business Specialist and Microsoft Certified Professional.

What’s more, we promise no flim-flam, no geeks and no jargon. In fact, check out our helpful glossary for explanations on commonly used ‘jargon’, just in case you have been caught out in the past.

“Citadel IT has become an invaluable and trusted member of our team, on hand at all times to manage or solve IT problems quickly and efficiently. Citadel IT has our best business interests at heart, which is why I always consult them on any new businesses developments, even if they are not directly IT–related.”
